It goes something like this: "So, any kids yet?" "Nope." [strange look] "But you've been married 12 years..." [deep breath, followed by a sigh, downcast eyes] "Yup. The viagra just doesn't work, dont'cha know." [end of discussion] You just have to nerve up for it. Something like this: "So, how old ARE you?" "Why, are my facelift scars showing? Damn!" [pat sides of face nervously, dash down hall] There’s a defense for that. It goes something like this:

[strange look]
“But you’ve been married 12 years…”
