Yes, I know. I’ve not been updating the blog as much as usual, this is due to boredom, boredom and lack of access. The phone line down in Walton’s Mountain died on the weekend and the feckers from the phone company still haven’t contacted me about when they will be out. K and D arrived back last night, so at least it’s one less thing that I have to worry about. Anyway since it’s dial-up down there and everything I access in work is logged I haven’t been able to get any decent access lately.
I’m also not in the best humour. Work stuff is getting me down, I’m feeling extremely depressed about the whole thing. (Yes, I know I said I was fairly relaxed about it in an earlier post.) Now I guess the reality is setting in. We are down to 8 people and I expect that will be 7 by this evening. I’m still looking for something, but half reluctant to do so as the thought of starting fresh, proving myself in a new place AGAIN and not actually getting any further up the food chain in this crappy thing I call a ‘career’ is just soul destroying.
